Gross Motor Skills
Working gross motor skills improves strength to the whole body: throwing and catching to strengthen arms and improve hand-eye coordination; jumping, dancing or balancing to strengthen leg and core muscles. In the EYFS “Physical Development involves providing opportunities for young children to be active and interactive; and to develop their coordination, control and movement.”
The selection of activity toys we offer provides a wide variety of physical activity opportunities: from babies learning to crawl after shiny metal balls, to older children using balls in their play time. They will appeal to the active child as well as those who need encouragement.
