Toy Safety
Our tickit® product range is designed and developed in the UK, with a strong focus on creating resources that promote a child’s natural curiosity about the world in which they live, whilst ensuring all items are safe for children to use.
Products are rigorously tested and comply with the latest worldwide regulations including BSEN71, EN71, ASTM F963, SOR & ISO8124. Additionally, they comply with EU / UK REACH & RoHS, as well as American CPSIA & California prop 65 which means they do not contain any Lead, Phthalates, Cadmium, AZO dyes, BPA and PAH’s.
Whether toys or electrical goods, our products carry both the European CE mark and the Great Britain UKCA mark*. These show that the item has met specific safety requirements, and we have declared it as safe to use for its intended purpose.
If you require proof of testing, please Contact Us.
*Following the UK’s exit from Europe in 2020, the CE mark can no longer be used on products sold on the GB market from 1st January 2023.
In order to sell products on the GB market, they must carry the new UKCA mark. To comply with the new regulations, we have taken steps to ensure that all applicable products have had their packaging re-designed to include the new UKCA mark:
Please note that we are following the UK Government's guidelines not to re-test or re-label stock previously imported before the 31st December 2022 deadline, so there will be instances where current stock does not carry the new UKCA marking as we continue to roll out the labelling programme. As new orders are placed with our factories the new UKCA mark will be added.
