Commotion, a local wholesale distribution company, celebrated the opening of its new warehouse extension with a Summer party for customers, staff, family and friends. The sun shone, bunting flapped and balloons bobbed while everyone enjoyed fizz and a hog roast, and children were entertained with some of the company’s range of outdoor toys and games.
The company develops and distributes educational products worldwide. In the last 3 years it has grown its export sales by a massive 53% and there are no signs of slowing down. To cope with the increased demand, they have invested in technology, people and most recently the new warehouse extension – expanding its facility to 1,450m².
Started in 1983 by the founder and owner Tim Coote, Commotion has a team of 26 who Tim refers to as family. Tim believes a happy working environment and empowering individuals is the key to the company’s success and sees a bright future.
