Butterfly Lacing Jewels - Pk20 + 2 laces

Smooth and chunky FSC-certified beechwood butterfly shapes with colour-studded jewels from 1 to 10. Each butterfly is double-sided with a faceted polished finish to provide maximum shiny colour and the colours match the tickit Wooden Lacing Jewels and Shape Lacing Jewels. There are vertical and horizontal threading holes through the centres of each butterfly so they can be laced in either orientation in an ordered or random sequence.

Lacing is a good pre-writing activity as it develops and strengthens coordination and fine motor skill. The butterfly set can also be used for counting and sorting, using in imaginative play and for encouraging descriptive language and story-telling.

The set includes 20 butterflies featuring jewels in pink, green, yellow, blue and red (4 of each colour), with 2 laces and a drawstring cotton storage bag.
