Q1 Round Up 2025

As we near the end of the first quarter of the year, we reflect on everything the company has achieved so far during this fast-paced and exciting time for the toy industry.
The first and foremost being our new branding which has been strategically designed to reflect our company objectives, of staying current and ahead of the educational toy market trends and requirements. This fresh new visual identity was brought to life at our prominent exhibition space at Spielwarenmesse 2025, where we showcased over 100 new products from our iconic tickit range. The event allowed us to meet new and existing customers in an inspiring event dedicated to bringing the most up-to-date products to the forefront of the toy industry.

Alice Sharp, Director - Sharp Minds, Early Years Training Provider & Keynote Speaker stated "It was so nice to have a quick five minutes catching your new products with you. I can honestly say your stand was spectacular compared to the rest. It was glorious... a little oasis of heaven!!"
While Mark Austin, Sales Director - Toy World Magazine told us "I’m not surprised you had a great show. Brilliant stand, lovely products and as mentioned I do really like your new balance bikes."
A highlight of our Spielwarenmesse 2025 presence was our immersive dark room, which introduced our NEW Low Sensory Mood Table. Join Alidia from our sales team as she presents this exciting new product live from Nuremberg here.

The Spielwarenmesse 2025 International Toy Fair also saw the return of our beloved mascot Humphrey the elephant. Humphrey proved even more popular this year as he walked the fair handing out small gifts to his adoring fan club, delighting fairgoers and reinforcing the playful spirit at the heart of Commotion Ltd. Join Humphrey on his big day out here.
Following Spielwarenmesse, we continued our exhibition momentum at Spring Fair 2025 where the tickit range was once again showcased to excited visitors at this leading event for the home, gift and fashion retail industry. Here our Lacing Jewels and Gems proved very popular due to their aesthetically pleasing properties and abilities to captivate children and adults alike and inspire creative play. In February our Commotion website was fully redesigned to not only reflect our energetic new branding but restructured to create a dynamic user experience, that reflects the full product and customer service experience our customers expect.

Alongside these busy, fun filled events we also welcomed two toy experts into our showroom at Commotion HQ. Holly and Jasmine presented a few of their favourite tickit products, each week giving an honest review and explaining to the grown-ups exactly why their younger friends would like to play with each product.

February brought more excitement, at the showUP event in Amsterdam, we were delighted to have so many tickit products featured on OKU’s fantastic stand. Products included our wooden picture blocks, Easy Hold Glitter Panels, Gem Cube Mirror Tray and Sensory Mood Discovery Table among many others.
Our new tickit Whizz bikes were featured in Toys n Playthings and Toy World Magazine, where both leading industry publications noted the dynamic features, such as its rustproof design, lightweight frame and adjustable seat height. See the tickit Whizz Bike in action here.

In March, we were proud to exhibit at the Childcare & Education Expo, held at Olympia, London. This event brings together the most forward-thinking minds in early childhood education and care. Here we showcased our exciting new Silisoft range alongside our iconic and flagship products, such as our Easy Hold range, Rainbow Architect Sets and wooden picture blocks sets.
This exhibition provided an invaluable opportunity to engage directly with professionals who are at the forefront of early years education, gathering insights, sharing our passion for learning through play, and understanding the evolving needs of educators and caregivers.

Our valued partnerships continued to grow this quarter, with two of our trusted customers showcasing our tickit range at prominent industry events. OKU once again demonstrated their confidence in our products, creating a wonderful display of our range at the Spot on Retail event. Simultaneously, our friends at C2 Group presented a wide range of our innovative tickit educational toys at the celebrated Fiera Didacta Italia event.
These collaborations highlight the trust our customers place in our commitment to creating educational toys and resources that truly mean something.
We ended the first quarter of the year with an exciting product photoshoot on location in Sussex. Our photoshoots offer us an exciting and first-hand opportunity to see how our products are used and enjoyed by the models, as well as gaining natural photo and video content to showcase our products to their fullest.

The first quarter has been an exceptional time for Commotion Ltd. Our team celebrated multiple product launches that demonstrate our commitment to creating unique and thoughtful products, while also attending key trade shows and exhibitions. The recognition we have received from leading industry publications and experts further supports our intentions of designing and manufacturing essential resources for the education industry that we are proud to add to the tickit range. We look forward to Q2 and beyond.
