Raising Awareness for Cancer Research UK & Breast Cancer Now
In April, we took part in #FootballShirtFriday at the Commotion office to support life-saving bowel cancer research through the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. Members of our team dressed in their favourite football shirts for the day to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK.
In October, we took part in Wear It Pink Day, raising funds to support vital breast cancer research and services. It was inspiring to see everyone come together to show support for Breast Cancer Now.
Golf for Good
A huge congratulations to everyone who participated in the Louise Coote Charity Golf Day in June! Despite some dubious handicaps, the day was filled with sunshine, smiles, and memorable moments. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we raised an impressive £4,000, which was shared equally between The Lupus Trust and the Kent Autistic Trust.
Supporting Children’s Health and Wellbeing
We were thrilled to gift a Discovery Glow Table and a selection of sensory toys to the Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Charity. It’s wonderful to hear that the children’s teams at East Surrey Hospital (and their sister hospitals in Crawley and Horsham) are already putting them to great use. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff who do such amazing work every day!
We also collaborated with Dame Vera Lyn Children’s Charity, using one of their hubs for a small product photoshoot. In exchange, we gifted a selection of tickit products for the children to enjoy at the centre.
Moustaches for Movember
A brave selection of our team are taking on a challenge like no other this November - growing moustaches and taking part in Movember for a great cause! In a bold and fun show of support, they’re letting their upper lips do the talking to raise awareness and funds for men’s health.
It’s not just about the moustaches - it’s about making a difference. Every contribution helps support vital health initiatives, from mental health services to cancer research, giving men everywhere the care they deserve.
