Polar Island

Made from smooth FSC-certified birch plywood, this versatile frozen island provides an imaginative play area for developing creativity and using the imagination, engaging fine motor skills, logic and reasoning, encouraging descriptive language skills, supporting collaborative play and inspiring discussion about the climate, our weather, oceans and sea life.

Easy to assemble, the icy walls include tactile sparkling white frosty gems, and the printed artistic features create a magical frozen scene. The set can be used as a whole or split into separate iceberg and underwater play areas.

Set includes a wooden Inuit character, igloo arch, penguin, polar bear & cub, walrus, seal, orca and a fish.

Assembly guide and fixing screws are provided, although the island can be assembled without screws - providing an interactive building and deconstructing element to play.
