This open-ended enabling resource will provide opportunities for creative and imaginative play, engaging children in learning across several areas of the curriculum: using the imagination to build house structures or create enclosing spaces; applying mathematical logic to sort items into the shapes which match by colour; exploring size and scale and using mathematical terms - larger, smaller, taller, wider etc; and for improving language skills and broadening descriptive vocabulary.
