Sensory Blocks - Pk16

This award-winning set consists of 16 large rubberwood blocks containing different sensory materials safely encased in acrylic windows. There are four shapes and four colours, with each shape containing sensory centres in a single colour: rattling plastic balls, miniature glass beads that mimic sand, translucent colour acrylic windows and glittery coloured water.

The Sensory Blocks promote observation in the wider sense, as all the shapes follow the same convention of colour and shape. So for example, regardless of the contents of the block the triangles are always green. The combination of smooth wood exterior and the brightly coloured sensory centres make a fascinating resource with a multitude of educational possibilities for use with children of all ages. 

Set contains 4 semicircles (yellow), 4 triangles (green), 4 squares (red) and 4 rectangles (blue).

The blocks are the same size as the Large Mirror Blocks (73376), which form a natural extension to this set.
